Week 9, Chapter 6 'Quadratic Equations'

In class we have been doing Quadratic Functions as some of this is revision from 2A/B it is getting into more context we're exposed to more. I have found this reasonably hard, as while others have too. We also received our investigation marks back, with everyone passing the course so far. Our next test will be Term 2 Week 1 and it is advised that this will be the hardest test so far.

Investigation score i received 88%

P.S Study hard!!

Co-ordinate Geometry

Here is a video I found on co-ordinate geometry. I found it very useful.

Sequence Notation

Well done to those who have started their EPW due Monday. here are some summary notes about sequence notation that might be useful.

Consider what skills from last year you need to write the general rules.

Week 7 Review

This week has been a bit full on with Coordinate Geometry and Sequence Notation. We also have been handed our EPW for week 7 , which is due Week 8 Monday, also being the date of our Validation. The teacher has gone over the topics above very well and i personally understood and retained 90% of the work. Although most of it was revision to me seeing i learn't some of the topics in 2A/B Function notation was quiet difficult.

Good luck to all in your EPW and Validation.

Week 7: 'Co-ordinate Geometry' Chapter 5

On the 13th of March we started learning about co-ordinate geometry. The teacher also had to revise sequence notation to us. Graphs and gradients were also ways a challenge for me so this area will challenge me more then the course has so far.

Co-ordinate geometry

Watch this link to youtube about co-ordinate geometry.
We start this topic next week. You need to know about linear functions and it would be worth revising finding gradients and intercept in the form y=mx+c

Week 6: 'Numbers' Chapter 4

On the 6th March in 2CD maths we learn't how to do Recurring Decimals, Significant Numbers(S.F), we also completed some examples of these topics and most people in our class got a grasp on the idea. I  myself found it really easy to do. Also to remind myself of these topics a revised(STUDIED) them that night.
